ProMatrix is a porous, human protein –based tissue scaffold for reconstruction of deep skin loss wounds. It has the key properties necessary for regeneration of the dermal component of skin.

The dermis is the layer of skin which is replaced by scar tissue. ProMatrix BioDerm acts by organising ingrowing cells from the wound environment to form new tissue.
